Perfect Poet Award- Week 31

Thank you Jingle for the Perfect Poet Award! I accept by posting this poem and by nominating Tasithoughts as the next Perfect Poet.

Halloween’s Cool
Boil, boil, toil and trouble
Halloween’s here and my candy just doubled.
Spooks in the street and witches in the air
All working hard for that Halloween scare.

The kids are ecstatic,
dressed as princesses and ghouls
with plenty of loot to take back to school.
The stories they tell will last them ‘til Christmas,
when Santa and elves will snatch all their business.

I’m strutting out in my Halloween gear,
looking for fun and a small bit of fear.
One night a year we can act like a fool,
Halloween’s here, Halloween’s cool.

Happy Halloween!
